kkHTMLEditor Publisher's Description

The kkHTMLEditor comes as an ActiveX component representing a fully functional HTML editor with WYSIWYG capablities. The depicted toolbar provides the basic formatting options for easy handling comparable to word procesing applications:

You are free to disable any unwanted elements by your needs.

The current editor's contents is accessible (read/write) at any time using the following properties:
  • HTMLDocument: contains the entire HTML-file inclusive of the <HEAD>-tag
  • HTMLDocumentBody: restricts to the contents of the document <BODY>
  • TextDocumentBody: retrieves the plain text from the document <BODY> without HTML-tags

For extended formatting demands the component contains a series of dialogs providing tables, hyperlinks and color choosers. Moreover, the support of Cascading Stylesheets (CSS) allows usage of predefined styles. In doing so you are able to define a CSS file with your styles which is evaluated by the editor and presented to the user in a separate style-sheet-dialog (cf. picture).

A documentation of user-side operation can be found in our user guide:
CHM version - HTML version.

Information how to use kkHTMLEditor in your own applications is summed up in the developer guide:
